In fact, due to the massive media hype around it, it’s probably made him even more incline to continue ‘keeping it a secret’. It doesn’t matter if he’s gay, straight, or anything else, he doesn’t owe it to anyone to annouce it to the world. To be in the public eye, you’re under constant scrutiny and criticism, so imagine what it must be like to have everyone analyse something as personal as your sexuality. As a straight person, I can’t even begin to understand how terrifying it must be. However, coming out can be an incredibly scary experience for someone.
